What we collect

• Email address, if you sign in with a one-time code.
• A signed visitor cookie and a signed free-use counter for guests.
• Conversation text and Estate Planner answers you submit, so you can return to them.
• Stripe customer and subscription identifiers if you pay.
• Standard server logs (IP address, user agent) used for rate limiting and abuse control.

What we do not want

Do not enter Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, bank accounts, medical record numbers, or other case-specific confidential facts. Navigators are educational Q&A, not a channel for retaining counsel. Anyone seeking to retain counsel should use https://portalawpc.com, not this chat.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the Navigators, enforce the free-use limit, process publishing memberships, and prevent abuse. Paid plans are not legal fees and do not retain William J. Porta or Porta Law P.C.. If a model provider is configured, submitted questions are sent to that provider to generate an answer. Those answers may be machine-generated general information and are not reviewed as advice on your facts or your matter.

Cookies

Signed HTTP-only cookies store your session, a visitor identifier, and the anonymous use count. They are not advertising cookies.

Processors

Hosting may run on Vercel. Paid billing runs on Stripe. Optional email delivery uses Resend. Optional answers use the Vercel AI Gateway and the selected model provider. Postgres, when configured, stores accounts, conversations, and interview progress.
